Biocidal Products Regulation
With regard to Citrepel® 75, Chemian Technology Limited has submitted a compliant notification in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 1062/2014 to support the substance “Cymbopogon winterianus oil, fractionated, hydrated, cyclized” CAS 2304455-69-2, redefined from the ‘orphan’ substance “Mixture of cis- and trans-p-menthane-3,8 diol (Citriodiol)”; CAS number: 42822-86-6. The notification was accepted and deemed compliant by European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) on 1 December 2017 and is supported by the Asset number: EU-0017756-0000. The dossier relating to full registration of Citrepel 75 on the Biocidal Products Register has been submitted and passed the initial check (see news).
Chemian Technology Limited is also present on ECHA’s List of notifications (published 8 December 2017) listed under Part I: List of compliant notifications as supporting the active substance “Cymbopogon winterianus oil, fractionated, hydrated, cyclized” CAS 2304455-69-2.
